Follow up: 10 short films 1 script!

Last Wednesday at the Anthology Film Archive. I attended a wonderful screening of 10 short films based off of 1 script brought together and called the "Wonder Project".

The Wonder Project is being described as "a feature film made up of 10 completely different short films by ten directors. The twist here is the genre’s range from thriller to comedy to drama using the exact same scripted dialogue, different actors and locations."

The description of this event impressed me and I was delightfully happy with what I saw.

The script was written by Director Dutch Doscher.
The script did not have any complete sentences and was filled with a lot of grunting, ohh's, ahh's and half thoughts. I can only imagine how difficult this was for the 10 directors/film makers.

My favorite short film of the night was Jordan Horowitz's "Wonderlust"

I enjoyed this film the most because the director handled the difficult script so well with his characters. This short was sexy, funny, and clever. I do not want to give away too much of the film before the trailer is released. So, to find out more about the Wonder project and this film. Check out the website for more info:

I love the concept of this project and I hope the film goes far.
