Today is Ground Hog's Day.
Honestly, this historical day has never intrigued me and I've always fount this tradition to be quite silly.
And, the only reason I'm mentioning it here on my blog is due to me waking up this morning to Mayor Bloomberg struggling with a groundhog on television.
What I didn't know is that last year Mayor Bloomberg was bit by a groundhog. And of course this made me giggle. Why don't they just leave the poor ground hog's alone and stop using them as weather oracles?
